Configure your account for optimal performance

Properly configuring your DripEmails account ensures smooth operation and optimal deliverability. Follow this guide to set up your account correctly.
Profile Settings
- Click on your profile icon in the top right corner
- Select "Settings"
- Update your profile information:
- Full name
- Company name
- Contact email
- Time zone
- Click "Save Changes"
Email Sending Settings
From Address
Set your default "From" email address and name that will appear in recipient inboxes:
- Navigate to Settings → Email Settings
- Enter your sender email address
- Enter your sender name (e.g., "John from Company")
- Add a reply-to address if different from sender
⚠️ Important: Use an email address from your domain for better deliverability.
Time Zone
Set your time zone so scheduled campaigns send at the correct time. Go to Settings → General and select your time zone from the dropdown.
Notification Preferences
Choose which email notifications you want to receive:
- Campaign sent confirmations
- Daily/weekly performance summaries
- New subscriber notifications
- Bounce and complaint alerts
Security Settings
Change Password
- Go to Settings → Security
- Click "Change Password"
- Enter your current password
- Enter and confirm your new password
- Click "Update Password"
✅ Best Practice: Use a strong, unique password with at least 12 characters.
API Access
If you plan to integrate DripEmails with other applications:
- Navigate to Settings → API
- Click "Generate API Key"
- Copy and store your API key securely
- Never share your API key publicly
